Volunteers make the event!
Would you like to experience the World Gymnaestrada 2023 up close? And would you like to be part of an international team of 3,000 enthusiastic volunteers? Then the role of EventMaker is made for you!
We are looking for volunteers in a variety of different roles. Your talent, interests and experience will determine your most suitable EventMakers role.
- Is your gift for languages well-developed and can you cope well in English, German, Spanish or another foreign language? Sign up as a Team Supervisor!
- Is ‘service-oriented’ your middle name? A position in Visitors Services or EventMakers Services is a perfect fit for you.
- Do you have an affinity for catering and a sense of hospitality? Catering it is!
- Are you flexible and does Google Maps hold no secrets for you? We would love to put you to work as a driver at Transport.
- A born host or hostess? Team Hospitality is looking for you.
- Do you like to actively make people happy? Then become an EventMaker at the various Side Events.
- Would you like to be the first point of contact for participants and their supervisors at the overnight location? Sign up as a School Coordinator.
- Do you have a sense for entertainment and do you enjoy assisting during various performances? Get started as a Stage Assistance.

What we offer:

And you are…
- A gymnastics and/or sports enthusiast
- At least three to five days available during the event period

- Fluent in Dutch and/or English
- Willing to sign a volunteer agreement
- Enthusiastic and passionately committed to the World Gymnaestrada
- Able to cover your own travel and accommodation costs

The World Gymnaestradavirus does not require a vaccine. Participation as an EventMaker is for everyone, regardless of gender, age, race, religion, culture and social status. During the world’s biggest gymnastics festival, we are one family. With one common passion.
