All participation and editions in an overview

The World Gymnaestrada have been held sixteen times since 1953: in 1953 (Rotterdam), 1957 (Zagreb), 1961 (Stuttgart), 1965 (Vienna), 1969 (Basel), 1975 (Berlin), 1982 (Zurich), 1987 (Herning), 1991 (Amsterdam), 1995 (Berlin), 1999 (Gothenburg), 2003 (Lisbon), 2007 (Dornbirn), 2011 (Lausanne), 2015 (Helsinki), 2019 (Dornbirn). In 2023 the event will take place in Amsterdam.
