  • What are the quarantaine Covid-19 R&R in The Netherlands?

Large Group Performances

  • Are there lockers or containers available for the Large Group Performances?

    There will be places around the Olympic Stadium where you can leave your belongings. We will also place lockers big enough for backpacks and clothes in these places.

Opening & Closing Ceremony

  • Will there be marking on the grass for gymnasts during the Opening & Closing Ceremonies?

    Yes. Please check the latest Bulletin on the website for the most up to date Field Plan.

  • Will all participants be in the Opening Ceremony and do the march in together like before?

    We are working on a calculation to make the march in possible in any way. This can be both inside and outside the stadium. For updated information, please check the latest Bulletin

  • Regarding the new marcing in, have you taken into consideration people with a handicap?

    This event is for everyone and of course we are taking into account people with disabilities.


  • Will there be workshops or speaker corners?

    We will not be offering any workshops or speaker corners.

  • Will there be an educational moment?

    For now, this is not included in the official programme.


  • What is the ticket price for children, from what age?

    There is no specific price for children, students or grandparents. Children till 3 years old (on the day of the event) have free access and have to sit on the lap of the parents. Children from 4 years have to buy a regular ticket for the specific Performance.



  • What is the ticket price for the FIG gala and National Evening?

    For the FIG Gala we have two ticket prices because of the different categories – Category 1: €40,00 and Category 2: €35,00 – for the National Performances we have two ticket prices because of the different categories – Category 1: €35,00 and Category 2: €28,00

  • What is the ticket price for the World Team?

    There is no ticket for the World Team.

School Accommodation

  • Will there be pumps for the matrasses?

    Pumps will be provided in the schools for the sleeping mattresses.

  • Is there an emergency desk at the schools 24/7?

    Yes, each school will have an emergency desk which will be manned 24/7.

  • Are there freezers in the schools for the storage of medicine?

    Yes, freezers will be provided in all schools for the storing of medicine.

  • Is there Wifi available in the schools?

    Yes, the schools will have a wifi network.

  • Can we enter the school 24/7?

    Yes, schools can be entered 24/7. During the day volunteers will be present. During the nightly hours there will be night security.

  • Are there doctors in every school?

    In all schools there will be at least one person that has a first aid diploma.

  • Will it be possible to serve dinner in the schools?

    No, dinner will be served at the RAI venue. It is prohibited to serve dinner at the schools.

  • Will it be possible to arrange a BBQ in the schools?

    It is prohibited to BBQ at the schools.

  • Will my school be wheelchair friendly?

    Most schools have an elevator and are wheelchair friendly. Please send an e-mail to to request a wheelchair friendly school, so this can be taken into account in the allocation process.

  • Does my school have gender neutral facilities?

    There a several schools that have a gender neutral bathroom in the building. If this is applicable to you delegation, please contact

  • Will there be ice available at the schools for injuries?

    Yes, icepacks will be stored in a freezer in the school.


  • What are the timings & menu for lunch and diner?

    The draft schedule is as follows;
    Lunch 11.00 – 14.00
    Dinner 17.00 – 20.00

    The final schedule depends on the total amount of requests for lunch and dinner.

  • Will you take into account different cultures regarding food (e.g halal)?

    We take into account the different cultures and customs as much as possible. The menus are varied and there is always an alternative choice. For example; if you don’t want to eat pork there will be an alternative. If you don’t want to eat beef, we offer an alternative etc.

  • Is there an option for a packed lunch if you have bought the package?

    It is possible not to eat lunch in the lunch room but to take it with you. However, the participant must collect this themselves in the catering hall, we do not offer packaging. Unfortunately it is not possible to put together a packed lunch for these numbers.

  • Will there be other food options other than official catering?

    Various food trucks will be placed on the forecourt of the RAI and near the Olympic Stadium. Information about the set-up will be included in Bulletin 5.

  • Is tapwater drinkable?

    Yes! All water from taps is drinkable. You will find these taps everywhere on site and in the city. Please follow this link (linken to see where you can find the taps in the city.

Transport and Transfer

  • Where can I travel to with my GVB pass?

    With all GVB trams, (night) buses and metros in Amsterdam, Diemen, Duivendrecht, Amstelveen, Schiphol and Weesp. Please check for more information.


  • What are the public transport times for relevant trams in Amsterdam?

    Public Transport operates between 06:00 and 23:00hrs. Please check for more information.

  • Is it possible to rent a bike?

    You can rent a bike at several shops in the city. Or via our partner Tours & Tickets.
