The World Gymnaestrada is a global, non-competitive event held every four years with the largest number of active participants in any gymnastics event. Participation is for everyone, regardless of gender, age, race, religion, culture, ability or social status.
Since the very first edition in the Netherlands in 1953, the World Gymnaestrada has traveled the world and developed into a multicultural gymnastics festival. After 32 years, this party returns to Amsterdam. It is expected to be the best and largest World Gymnaestrada ever.
